How to Navigate the Medical Chart/Record in Helix?
This article explains how doctors can open and navigate the Medical Chart in Helix, understand its layout, and view patient context during a visit.
▶️ How to Open the Medical Chart

Go to Home → Today’s Admissions.

Locate the patient in the Services panel.

Click the blue button to Open Medical Chart.
🖥️ Chart display behavior

The Medical Chart opens over the Home screen.
-
Click the blue button (top-right) to open the chart in a new tab.
-
Click the red X (top-right) to close the chart and return to Home.
🧩 Medical Chart Layout
The Medical Chart supports 32 specialties.
Each specialty chart is tailored to its department, but the layout remains the same every time.

The chart is divided into four sections:
👤 1. Top Section — Patient Demographics & General Medical History
This section displays a read-only snapshot of key patient information.
📌 Information shown

Identity: Patient name, photo (if Emirates ID scanned), File/MRN

Basic details: Age, gender, date of birth, nationality, national ID

Contact details: Mobile number and email (may be hidden)

Status tags: Colored labels added for quick identification

Admin users can mask sensitive fields such as mobile number or email

Blood Group (ABO/Rh)

Click ABO → select Blood Group and Rh → Submit

This panel shows a chronological summary of previous visits.
