How to connect Whatsapp Business Account with Helix

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to connect your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) with Helix. This configuration is essential for enabling WhatsApp lead capture into the Helix CRM module and supports ongoing patient engagement by allowing you to create, manage, and send approved WhatsApp template messages directly from Helix.

Pre-requisites: 

  • Meta Business Account

    Create and configure a Meta Business Account via the Meta Business Suite 
  • Dedicated Phone number (this number should not be connected to any other WhatsApp account) 
  • Verified Business Information (grants additional messaging permissions) 
  • Payment method setup (mandatory for message templates) 

Steps to follow on Helix: 

  1. Login to Helix using your credentials 
  2. Go to the control panel page (menu on top left -> control panel OR https://my.helixbydoctors.com/control-panel
  3. Look for the CRM Setup section as shown below Picture
  4. Click on WhatsApp Business 
  5. Login with your Facebook account (that has access to your WhatsApp Business Account)

  6. Click on Get Started Picture
  7. Choose your business portfolio and hit Next Picture
  8. Select your WABA and WhatsApp business profile Picture
  9. Review permissions then hit Continue Picture
  10. All done! Click on finish (you may choose to setup the payment method now or later from the Meta business suite) Picture
  11. Logout and re-login for changes to take place
