How to edit Patient Profile Settings?

🔍 Scope of Patient Profile Settings

• Applies only to the comprehensive Patient Registration form

• Does NOT affect the mini-registration form used during booking

• Only fields that are toggle-enabled can be changed

⚠️ Mandatory-by-Default Fields

• Some patient fields are system-mandated by Helix

• These fields cannot be made optional

• Only fields with available toggles can be configured

Control Panel → EMR Settings → Patients Profile Settings

⚙️ How to Configure Mandatory Fields

Steps

1. Open Patients Profile Settings

2. Review the list of configurable fields

3. For each toggle-able field:

   • On → Field is Mandatory

   • Off → Field is Optional

4. Click Save

5. Log out and log back in to apply the changes

• The comprehensive patient registration form will enforce your mandatory selections

• The mini-registration form (used during appointment booking) remains unchanged

• Front desk users will be required to fill in all mandatory fields before saving
