How to Set Up DHPO / e-Claim Portal Link in Helix
Overview
When a clinic is empanelled with an insurance company or TPA, they are provided with a DHPO / e-Claim portal to submit and track insurance claims.
Helix allows you to configure these e-Claim details at the system level, enabling clinics to:
-
Create insurance claims
-
Submit claims
-
Track approvals, rejections, and denials
—all directly from Helix.
⚠️ Important:
Before you can submit or manage insurance claims in Helix, both branch-level e-Claim details and clinician user details must be configured.
Prerequisites
Before starting, ensure you have the following details from the insurer / TPA:
-
Provider ID (e.g., DHA / DOH / MOH Provider ID)
-
e-Claim / DHPO portal credentials
-
Username
-
Password
-
-
Clinician license details (for doctors submitting claims)
Step 1: Configure e-Claim Details at Branch Level
Path:
Control Panel → Branch Settings
Steps
-
Go to Control Panel → Branch Settings
-
Locate the eClaim / DHPO section
-
Enter the following details:
-
Provider ID
(Example: DHA-F-8876717) -
eClaim Username

⚠️ Mandatory Action:
After saving:
-

-
Log back in
This refresh is required for the e-Claim configuration to take effect system-wide.
Step 2: Configure Clinician (Doctor) User Details
Claims are submitted under the clinician’s name.
Therefore, the clinician user profile must be correctly configured.
Path:
Control Panel → Users → Edit User
Steps
-
Go to Control Panel → Users
-
Locate the clinician (doctor) whose appointments and claims will be submitted
-
Click Edit User
-
Ensure the following fields are filled:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| License Number | Clinician’s DHA / DOH / MOH license |
| Clinician Login | Login provided/required for e-Claim submission |
| Clinician Password | Password associated with the e-Claim portal |
-
Click Update
⚠️ Mandatory Action:
After updating clinician details:
-
Log out
-
Log back in
This ensures the clinician credentials are properly mapped for claim submission.
How This Works in Practice
Once both setups are complete:
-
Appointments booked under the clinician will carry their license details
-
Insurance claims will be created and submitted using:
-
Branch-level Provider ID
-
Clinician-level login credentials
-
-
Claim statuses such as:
-
Submitted
-
Approved
-
Rejected
-
Denied
can be tracked from within Helix
-
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
Claims not submitting?
Check:
-
Provider ID is correctly entered at Branch Settings
-
Clinician license number is not empty
-
Clinician login & password are saved
-
User has logged out and logged back in
Wrong clinician appearing on claims?
-
Ensure the appointment is booked under the correct clinician
-
Verify the clinician user profile, not a generic admin user
Portal credentials not working?

Helix does not validate insurer credentials
-
Confirm credentials directly with the insurer / TPA
Pro Tips 💡
